Burnaby Mountain Golf Course, located in North Burnaby off Duthie at Halifax, offers a full 18 hole course, driving range, practise area and some of the best golf you’ll find for the price anywhere. They also have CPGA professionals on site if you’re looking for some lessons.
Riverway Golf Course, located in South Burnaby just South of Marine Dr. off Byrne Rd. is also an 18 hole facility with full driving range and practice area. It is more of a links style course with flatter terrain, less trees, yet more water and sand. It is easily walkable and also offers power carts. For a review of Riverway, Check this out.
Burnaby also offers 2 pitch and putt golf courses at Central Park and Kensington. For around $10 you can play 18 holes that are all par 3’s and short enought that you’ll only need a wedge and a putter. A round takes about 2 hours and it’s a great way to spend the afternoon.
